My latest book is The One Who Swam With The Fishes.

"A mesmerizing account of the well-known story of Matsyagandha ... and her transformation from fisherman’s daughter to Satyavati, Santanu’s royal consort and the Mother/Progenitor of the Kuru clan." - Hindustan Times

"Themes of fate, morality and power overlay a subtle and essential feminism to make this lyrical book a must-read. If this is Madhavan’s first book in the Girls from the Mahabharata series, there is much to look forward to in the months to come." - Open Magazine

"A gleeful dollop of Blytonian magic ... Reddy Madhavan is also able to tackle some fairly sensitive subjects such as identity, the love of and karmic ties with parents, adoption, the first sexual encounter, loneliness, and my favourite, feminist rage." - Scroll

Grinning like a fool because I just got my second vaccine! Here I am at the old Tempelhof airport, converted into a vaccine centre, and on my arm a little band aid from the Moderna shot. Thought they'd give me more trouble for not being a Berlin resident but everyone was so nice that I almost wanted to cry. Also Germans have fucked off on their holidays so quite a lot going waste these days. (First world problems eh?) As I suspected though they didn't recognize Covishield as a valid shot so they signed us up for a second dose of Moderna making us vaccinated thrice before we can get the digital passport but neither of us is complaining. Arm is quite sore this morning but otherwise feel pretty good. Ironically passed a whole anti mask campaign on our way to the centre so a very topical day. #berlinstories #minnaindeutschland #vaccinated
