My latest book is The One Who Swam With The Fishes.

"A mesmerizing account of the well-known story of Matsyagandha ... and her transformation from fisherman’s daughter to Satyavati, Santanu’s royal consort and the Mother/Progenitor of the Kuru clan." - Hindustan Times

"Themes of fate, morality and power overlay a subtle and essential feminism to make this lyrical book a must-read. If this is Madhavan’s first book in the Girls from the Mahabharata series, there is much to look forward to in the months to come." - Open Magazine

"A gleeful dollop of Blytonian magic ... Reddy Madhavan is also able to tackle some fairly sensitive subjects such as identity, the love of and karmic ties with parents, adoption, the first sexual encounter, loneliness, and my favourite, feminist rage." - Scroll

We are talking of moving, so we took Bruno to be microchipped, which is necessary for his "passport." We don't have details on plans yet so don't ask, but I'll tell you Bruno hated the cloth sling bag cage we put him in, which I personally love because it's so much easier to carry than the regular plastic and metal carrier. So he yowled and scratched and pushed against the plastic net with his face and paws until that - - being made only for geriatric cats or very small kittens, I think--tore easily and he walked around the car, and finally settled down on K's lap to watch the world go by. Eventually, at the vet, K slipped the harness on him and in he went, docile and like he had never been that angry cat scratching at his cage. #catstagram #brunothetabby #carpet
