My latest book is The One Who Swam With The Fishes.

"A mesmerizing account of the well-known story of Matsyagandha ... and her transformation from fisherman’s daughter to Satyavati, Santanu’s royal consort and the Mother/Progenitor of the Kuru clan." - Hindustan Times

"Themes of fate, morality and power overlay a subtle and essential feminism to make this lyrical book a must-read. If this is Madhavan’s first book in the Girls from the Mahabharata series, there is much to look forward to in the months to come." - Open Magazine

"A gleeful dollop of Blytonian magic ... Reddy Madhavan is also able to tackle some fairly sensitive subjects such as identity, the love of and karmic ties with parents, adoption, the first sexual encounter, loneliness, and my favourite, feminist rage." - Scroll

A short note to endorse @book.chor. Came across them in an article this weekend, decided to check them out. Incredible selection and good prices too. They even wrote back to say that two of the books I ordered were not in great condition so they were refunding that money to me. I went a bit crazy I admit, and most of these are books I've read already on my Kindle and wanted to own physical copies of to reread whenever I like. Plus super excited to find a sequel to The Children of Green Knowe, one of the books I've been hunting for forever. The only jarring note (and this is totally not the company's fault) was the extremely creepy delivery guy who came to drop them off, he almost slithered his way into the house and was being super creepy to me despite k being in the same room and giving him many dirty looks. *shudder* but yay! New books! I will definitely be using this service again! #bookstagram #mrmbookclub #secondhand
